No region restriction on Digimon tournaments in Hacker's Memory, user titles mistranslated

The fortnightly "event battle" page, which currently hosts rules allowing only Digimon of Adult level or lower.

With the international launch of Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker's Memory on PlayStation 4 and Vita over January 19th, the English-speaking world has been brought into the fold of the ongoing Adult Digimon tournament that began in Japan earlier this month. The revelation comes as a surprise to some, as the most recent tournament has been themed around Japanese New Year's. In light of the culturally-specific Kagami Mochi accessories being the primary multiplayer reward, and the event itself already being several days in-progress, up to now it was not unthinkable that English-speaking territories would have their own separate track of events.

This news may be for the best; while a handful of player titles and accessories remain Japan-exclusive for the time being due to the earlier launch of Hacker's Memory in Asia, in the long term all of these will become available to all players regardless of their language or country of origin. The current Japan exclusives are as follows:
  • Santa Hat
  • Black Santa Hat
  • Green Santa Hat
  • Present Box (White)
  • Present Box (Red)
  • Present Box (Gold)
  • Ryuji avatar
  • Ryuji (Hospital) avatar
  • Shiga Youji avatar
  • Kayaba Tooru avatar
  • The titles Christsmasher, Light Fang, and Crusader (from the Christmas tournament)
  • The titles Happy Omegamon, Chosen Child, and Command Tamer (from the Omegamon New Year's tournament)

The current event is fairly easy to jump into, as bonus stats are ignored, the Memory limit is a paltry 30, and it only requires relatively lower-end Digimon compared to the main Ranked mode. Thus the headstart from getting the game early doesn't confer nearly as much of an advantage on Japanese Digimon tamers, making the current theme ideal for westerners to join in on.

For those seeking to get started, some of the recommended Digimon include Tankmon for his damage output, and XV-mon or Greymon (Blue) for the Dragon's Wrath Support. The only must-have Inheritable Skill in this event is the damage-doubling Acceleration Boost, which can be picked up at level 10 from Tyrannomon and Fladramon, at level 18 from Monochromon, or at level 25 from Greymon and Agnimon. (Fladramon and Agnimon require storyline progress to unlock their respective evolution items, the Digimental of Courage and Human Spirit of Fire.)

Although the rewards in the Coin Shop remain the same across languages, some titles have been mistranslated in the transition from Japanese to English;
  • The title "Crack Team," named after the group in Digimon's base canon, has been mistranslated as "Crank Team." This could be from a misreading of クラック Kurakku as クランク Kuranku.
  • The title "Hypnos," named after the NSA-like espionage organization in Digimon Tamers, has somehow become "Hypnotizer."
  • The title "Xros Heart General," named after Kudou Taiki's title in Digimon Xros Wars, was rendered as "Cross Heart General." Something similar happened with a tutorial on the Xros Combo mechanic back in Cyber Sleuth. Note however that Xros is presented correctly on the same page of the shop, in the title "Xros Wars."
  • Though not a title, the Kagami Mochi hats were left as-is while the Kagami Mochimon hat was rendered literally as "Mirror Motimon," seemingly not picking up on the pun.
On a localization note, while the "Crest of Purity" has been made into the "Crest of Sincerity" and "Crest of Honesty" into "Crest of Reliability" in accordance with the Digimon: Digital Monsters English dub, curiously the titles not associated with the first season do not use their localized equivalents. The title "Wild Bunch" would normally be replaced with "Monster Makers" to match the English dub of Digimon Tamers, yet goes untouched; in kind, "The Best Bancho" would ordinarily be translated as "The Best Street Fighter," "Cross Heart General" would be rendered "Fusion Fighter General," "Twilight General" would become "Midnight General," and "Death General" as "Dark General."

Instead these titles have all been left alone in translation, and the titles that refer to the individual works by their Japanese names (Adventure, Tamers, Frontier, Savers, Xros Wars, X-Evolution) have likewise remained the same.

The current Battle Missions remain identical to their Japanese counterparts, with the reward for fully clearing all three being a King's Crown as was the case in previous tournaments.
Mission 1
  • Rank 1.) Use Attack over 10 times in battle (including counters and combos). (300 coins)

Adult-level Digimon tournament begins in Japan

"[Event Battle] Adult and lower no-duplicates tournament"
At 2:00 PM January 15th Japanese Standard Time the second Hacker's Memory tournament Shin'nen! Akemashite Omegamon came to a close, and the game's third event battle began. The theme of the next tournament, which will continue through the 31st, is "Adults and lower/No duplicates."

 The rules of the tournament are as follows;
  • Level 50 fixed/Bonus stats invalid
  • 30 Memory limit
  • Party members may only be Adult level or lower
  • You may not use more than one of the same Digimon in your party
Tamers are permitted to use Shoutmon (who has no level, but evolves from Koromon) but not Omega Shoutmon. Sistermon Noir and Blanc's respective Awakened forms may also be used, as can the Child-level Lucemon. The Memory size for most Adult-level Digimon ranges from 6~8, while the Awakened Sistermons are both 18 Memory in size, and Lucemon is 14.

These are the new Battle Missions for the tournament. The reward for completing all Battle Missions is, once again, a King Crown.

Mission 1

  • Rank 1.) Use the "Attack" command 10 or more times in battle. (Counterattacks & Combos count.) (300 coins)
  • Rank 2.) Use the "Attack" command 15 or more times in battle. (550 coins & "Berserker" title)
  • Rank 2.) Use the "Attack" command 20 or more times in battle. (1000 coins & "Silver Crown" title)
Mission 2
  • Rank 1.) Deal 200 or more damage total in one attack to all of the opponent's Digimon. (500 coins)
  • Rank 2.) Deal 400 or more damage total in one attack to all of the opponent's Digimon. (900 coins & "Crack Team" title)
  • Rank 3.) Deal 600 or more damage total in one attack to all of the opponent's Digimon. (1800 coins & "Gold Crown" accessory)
Mission 3
  • Rank 1.) Use Special Skills 3 or more times. (150 coins)
  • Rank 2.) Use Special Skills 8 or more times. (300 coins & "Reaper" title)
  • Rank 3.) Use Special Skills 15 or more times. (600 coins & "Bronze Crown" accessory)
The aforementioned Lucemon is ideal for meeting all of the second mission requirements, as a single Accel Boosted Grand Cross can complete all three ranks in one battle.

The pool of bots matchable for the event has been rotated out to match its themes, but the restrictions make them somewhat more difficult compared to those faced in preceding tournaments, as they continue to use the inflated states normally reserved for matching up against teams of Ultimate and Super Ultimate Digimon. Confirmed AI opponents include;
  • 015CAFEDEOSUWARI - Gabumon & Agumon
  • 014MIKATAWASMALL - Tokomon, Pabumon & Mochimon
  • 028HACHIDORICHAN - Zanbamon, Leomon & Lucemon (Child)
  • 046DEGIMONDAISKI - Lunamon, Patamon & Lucemon (Child)
  • 029KAIJUDAISENSO - V-dramon, Bao Hackmon & Geo Greymon
  • 039ANIMALSGARDEN - Birdramon, Sorcerimon & Kyuubimon
The rewards in the coin shop remain the same as the previous month, including the Chitose and Nokia avatars. The contents will change along with the event itself on February 1st.
  • Kagami Mochi (White) - 200 coins
  • Kagami Mochi (Festive) - 200 coins
  • Kagami Mochi (Gold) - 5000 coins
  • Kagami Mochimon (Doll) - 200 coins
  • Chitose - 1000 coins
  • Chitose (In-patient) - 1000 coins
  • Nokia - 1000 coins

Digimon Christmas tournament ends in Japan, Nokia avatar added for Omegamon-themed event

At noon January 1st, 2018, the first event battle for Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker's Memory came to a close. Titled "Vaccine-type & Light-attribute Special Tournament" (ワクチン種&光属攻大会 Wakuchin-shu ando Hikari-zoku Tokkou Taikai) the theme of the event was using Vaccine-Light Digimon like Holydramon and Sleipmon. To commemorate the holiday season, the unique rewards available included three different colors of Santa hats, and three colors of present box, any of which players could use to decorate their Digimon for the season. Digimon tamers battled against one another to for coins, then redeemed them in the online shop for the digital accessories.

The official coin shop. Both versions of the Ryuji avatar were priced at 1000 coins, while the Youji and Tooru avatars were only 800. The most expensive item in the shop was the Digimon accessory Present Box (Gold), at 5000 coins.
As part of the limited-time promotion, four different online avatars were also available for purchase. These included two avatars based on Hacker's Memory supporting character Mishima Ryuji (standard as well as hospital-wear) and minor antagonists Shiga Youji and Kayaba Tooru. Tamers received 60 coins for a win versus a human opponent and 30 for a loss, or 30 coins for a win versus a computer opponent and 5 for a loss. The shop items were as follows:
  • Santa Hat - 200 coins
  • Black Santa Hat - 200 coins
  • Green Santa Hat - 200 coins
  • Present Box (White) - 200 coins
  • Present Box (Red) - 200 coins
  • Present Box (Gold) - 5000 coins
  • Ryuji - 1000 coins
  • Ryuji (In-patient) - 1000 coins
  • Shiga Youji - 800 coins
  • Kayaba Tooru  - 800 coins
The special rules for the event were;
  • No level restrictions, bonus stats invalidated
  • 100 Memory limit
  • Vaccine-type Digimon status 50% up (Attack, Defense, Intelligence, Speed)
  • Light-attribute Digimon status 50% up (Attack, Defense, Intelligence, Speed)
  • Basic status errors invalidated
Unlike the primary ranked battle format for Hacker's Memory, Digimon levels were left untouched during the event, thus level 99 Digimon remained at 99 instead of being set to 50. Tamers could use any combination of Digimon as long as their combined Memory was within a 100 Memory threshold, but any bonus stats gained through training were invalidated, and they were not able to use the six standard status effects. (Sleep, Stun, Confusion, Bug, Poison, and Dot/Liquid Crystallization.)

The Battle Missions for the month had a combined payout of 5750 coins, supplemented by several titles and accessories. Completing all three earned tamers the "King Crown" accessory.

Mission 1
  • Rank 1.) Battle 15 times total. (300 coin reward)
  • Rank 2.) Battle 35 times total ("Christmasher" title & 700 coins)
  • Rank 2.) Battle 60 times total ("Silver Crown" accessory & 1200 coins)
Mission 2
  • Rank 1.) Battle 5 times total with 3 Light-attribute Digimon (150 coins)
  • Rank 2.) Battle 15 times total with 3 Light-attribute Digimon. ("Light Fang" title & 300 coins)
  • Rank 3.) Battle 25 times total with 3 Light-attribute Digimon. ("Bronze Crown" accessory & 500 coins)
Mission 3
  • Rank 1.) Battle once with 2 or less allied Digimon getting knocked out. (300 coins)
  • Rank 2.) Battle once with 1 or less allied Digimon getting knocked out. ("Crusader" title & 700 coins)
  • Rank 3.) Battle once with no allied Digimon getting knocked out. ("Gold Crown" accessory & 1600 coins)

Some tamers used the accessories and their systems' built-in screenshot feature to spread a bit of holiday cheer; @Digitamagon took the chance to make a pun on Mercurimon (メルクリモン Merukurimon) Merry Christmas (メリークリスマスMeriikuriisumasu) and the typical Japanese abbreviation "MerryChri." (メリクリ Merikuri)

A rare player-versus-player match on December 31st.
While one might expect the final days of the event to be busy, participants say otherwise. Many tamers chose to use the newly-enhanced battle search function to specifically avoid human opponents, selecting "NPC-only" for grinding coins. The Cyber Sleuth sub-series' AI are not subject to the same restrictions as human ones, often having impossible stats and strategies that a normal player could never replicate. One such AI currently being used is 017DEBANNSUKUNAI, whose party consists of a single Shakkoumon that always moves first and can deal 4000~6000 damage to the entire party with a single unenhanced Aramitama.

Moreover, the payout for fighting these bots is only half of what one gains from playing against humans. But for many tamers this is preferable to matching up against players who had already finished the game, or have a head-start from converting their Cyber Sleuth save data to Hacker's Memory. Well into the second tournament, tamers are still choosing to battle AI opponents rather than play against their peers.

The second event battle is "A New Year! Happy Omegamon Tournament" (新年!あけオメガモン大会) with the theme for both the tournament and the item shop being New Year's celebrations. While many such celebrations take place on New Year's Eve, or on the first day of the New Year, some traditions aren't carried out until as late as the second week of January. The Omegamon tournament will last until January 15th.

The Santa hats in the coin shop have been replaced by three colors of kagami mochi, a traditional New Years decoration in Japan consisting of three layers of mochi rice cakes topped by a Japanese bitter orange;
  • Kagami Mochi (White) - 200 coins
  • Kagami Mochi (Festive) - 200 coins
  • Kagami Mochi (Gold) - 5000 coins
  • Kagami Mochimon (Doll) - 200 coins
  • Chitose - 1000 coins
  • Chitose (In-patient) - 1000 coins
  • Nokia - 1000 coins
The title Shin'nen! AkeOmegamon is based on the traditional expression Shin'nen Akemashite Omedetougozaimasu (新年明けましておめでとうございます) analagous to "Happy New Year." This expression is often contracted to simply Akeome (あけおめ) and from this contraction we get AkeOmegamon.

The "Kagami Mochi (White)" hat.
The "Kagami Mochi (Festive)" hat.
The "Kagami Mochi (Gold)" hat.
The "Kagami Mochimon (Doll)" hat.
Replacing the present box-shaped hats is a "Kagami Mochimon (Doll)." And replacing Ryuji, Youji, and Tooru, tamers can now purchase two avatars based on Imai Chitose and one based on Shiramine Nokia. The items will remain in the shop until January 31st.

The Nokia avatar.
The rules for the Omegamon New Year's tournament are;
  • Level 50 fixed/Enhanced stats invalid
  • 100 Memory limit
  • Critical rate 50% up
The Battle Missions for Shin'nen! Akemashite Omegamon Taikai have a combined payout of 6450 coins, and as in the first event, the prize for clearing all of them is the King Crown accessory.

Mission 1
  • Rank 1.) Battle 3 times total with Omegamon in your party. (150 coins) [Using Omegamon NX or Omegamon Zwart does not count towards this Mission.]
  • Rank 2.) Battle 10 times total with Omegamon in your party. ("Happy Omegamon" title & 300 coins)
  • Rank 3.) Battle 20 times total with Omegamon in your party. ("Bronze crown" accessory & 600 coins)
Mission 2
  • Rank 1.) Win 5 battles total. (500 coins)
  • Rank 2.) Win 10 battles total. ("Chosen Child" title & 900 coins)
  • Rank 3.) Win 25 battles total. ("Gold Crown" accessory & 1800 coins)
Mission 3
  • Rank 1.) During battle, deal 300 or more damage to the opponent in one attack. (300 coins.)
  • Rank 2.) During battle, deal 600 or more damage to the opponent in one attack. ("Command Tamer" title & 600 coins.)
  • Rank 3.) During battle, deal 1000 or more damage to the opponent in one attack. ("Silver Crown" accessory and 1300 coins.)

    Notes on Monkey Business
When the Skill says "all," it's referring to Attack, Defense, Intelligence, and Speed. Agility, Accuracy, and Critical are unaffected by the Skill.

Sarushibai (さるしばい or 猿芝居) is a Japanese idiom referring to over-acting in the theater, or otherwise clumsy attempts at deception. (Compare the English term "ham" when referring to an actor.) "Monkey Business" is an American-English idiom referring to shenanigans or some foolish activity. In this case, the two terms intersect nicely as the most important part is the "monkey" portion.

    Comparison with Metal Etemon
Both King Etemon and Metal Etemon possess the Reinforced Monkey Suit Support. The damage dealt by attacks after using Monkey Business will exceed the damage dealt by a single Banana Slip, and unlike the Stun status inflicted by Slip, the stat decrease from Monkey Business cannot be blocked by accessories or Supports. At level 50 Metal Etemon will have 340 more HP, 14 more SP, 30 more Attack, 25 more Defense, 42 less Intelligence, and 1 less Speed. (This is a difference of an entire Speed tier; Metal Etemon is tied with Craniummon, Hi Andromon, Pinocchimon, Herakle Kabuterimon, Mugendramon, Magnamon, and Rapidmon Armor. Being at 125 instead of 124 puts King Etemon above all of these but below Panjyamon.)

As a solo Digimon Metal Etemon is generally superior, but King Etemon is a better team player capable of turning two-hit knockouts into single-hits. Monkey Business is both an offensive and defensive Skill, since the 30% Attack and Intelligence reduction will also reduce the damage your team takes. (Even from Piercing Skills that draw on a Digimon's AT/IT for damage.)

    • Sakuyamon's Adroit Wisdom raises Intelligence by 15%.
    • Dukemon's All-Rounder raises Attack, Defense, Intelligence, and Speed 5%.
    • Pile Volcamon's Terrific Receiver drastically reduces your own Evasion, but decreases all incoming damage by 15%.
    • Lilithmon's Lust reduces physical damage taken by 10% and converts that portion to SP.
    • Omegamon Zwart's Obsidian Knight increases Defense by 10% and damage dealt by your Water and Dark-attribute skills by 10%.
    • Dukemon Crimson Mode's Crimson Mode Support raises Attack, Defense, Intelligence, and Speed by 10%.
Awakened Noir is a generally-better version of Cranniummon at level 50; the only potential downsides being her Virus typing and dramatically lower Defense. (102 vs 208.) Her other stats are generally comparable for a lower Memory cost, and she has one more equip slot than Cranniummon.

    Hacker's Memory buffs: Vikemon, Monzaemon

    • Arctic Blizzard's probability of inflicting Stun raised from 25% to 40%.
Lovely Attack has been completely overhauled.
    • Element changed from Physical-Neutral to Recovery.
    • SP cost reduced from 30 to 20.
    • Originally, Lovely Attack dealt Intelligence-penetrating Neutral damage equal to Monzaemon's Intelligence with a 20% chance of inflicting Confusion. Now Lovely Attack restores one ally's HP (seemingly by 50% of max) and raises their Attack, Defense, and Intelligence by 15%.

Hacker's Memory coming to Europe in 2018, does not include Cyber Sleuth pack-in

March 21st, 2017. Bandai Namco of Europe tweeted this morning announcing that Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory will be coming to Europe in early 2018. The European version of the game will not be dubbed, featuring Japanese voices with English subtitles; however, it will also feature German subtitles. The game will be coming to the PlayStation Vita digitally, and both physical and digital versions will be put out for the PlayStation 4.

While the lack of an English dub will doubtless disappointment some fans, the expansion into other European languages for subtitling is a welcome addition after Sleuth. More concerning is that while Hacker's Memory is confirmed to contain Cyber Sleuth in Japan, Bandai EU stated has stated that the European release only includes the new game. One of the selling points of the Hacker's Memory package in Japanese waters is being able to play through the original game with the 73 additional Digimon that were not available in the 2015 release.

More positively, Bandai has stated that this is "the final final FINAL confirmation" of a Vita release, in reference to last year's -next 0rder- debacle in which the company mistakenly told the press that Digimon World -next 0rder-'s international release would be physical and digital on both PlayStation 4 with no Vita release, then rescinded their statement to say the game would also have a digital release on Vita, and then rescinded their additional statement to announce that the game would be a PS4 exclusive.

The datasheet for the European announcement confirms that Cyber Sleuth's multiplayer elements will return in Hacker's Memory. The latest batch of screenshots put out by Bandai show off several new locations, including what appears to be an arena for underground hacker battles. (Pictured above.)

Hacker's Memory will come to the PlayStation 4 and Vita in Japan in 2017, and in Europe in early 2018. No North American release has been confirmed at this time, though recent American and European Digimon releases have been within a week of one another.

Hacker's Memory will let tamers bring 73 new Digimon back to the world of Cyber Sleuth

"The protagonist of this work is not a hero chosen to save the world."
    「本作主人公は、世界を救うために選ばれた英湯(ヒーロー)ではありません。」
March 21st, 2017. Today Bandai Namco Entertainment opened the official Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory website, confirming several facts recently detailed in early leaks of V Jump magazine. Hacker's Memory will debut in Japan on the Playstation Vita and PlayStation 4 in 2017, with character designs once more being handled by Yasuda Suzuhito of Sleuth and Re:Digitize fame, while music will be done by Takada Masafumi. The game is being developed by Media.Vision, the same company which developed Cyber Sleuth. (The most recent Digimon titles, -next 0rder- and Cyber Arena, were made by Bandai in-house.) The site's tagline is "We were at the boundary between the real and the digital." (現実と電脳の境界に、僕らはいた。Riaru to dejitaru no kyoukai ni, bokura wa ita.)

Currently only the introduction page is functional. According to it, Hacker's Memory shares its setting and world with Cyber Sleuth, and will introduce 73 new Digimon to Sleuth's roster, for a grand total of 320. And since Hacker's Memory also contains the original game packed in free-of-charge, players will also be able to use the new Digimon from Memory in Cyber Sleuth, giving even veterans reason to play through it again.

The site promises to deliver a story on the underside of Sleuth:
In this work, another story will be told from the flipside of the events in Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth, following a new protagonist.
In a near-future Tokyo where the boundaries between the real and the digital are breaking down, the player becomes a next-generation hacker using the AI-bearing computer virus born of cyberspace "Digimon," and solves the case stirred up by antagonistic hackers.
The protagonist of this work is not a hero chosen to save the world.
In face of a global crisis, where the common sense and values held up to now have changed dramatically, he struggles desperately to protect his friends, family, and most important places.
From here a cyberpunk story with strong science fiction elements begins!
Although Sleuth is packed into Hacker's Memory, playing it is optional; the player can play Memory by itself without going through the previous game first.

In addition to 60 returning locations from SleuthMemory also features 30 new maps, for an approximate total of 90 visitable locations. While Sleuth spanned 20 chapters, Hacker's Memory will be concluded in just 18; it has 70 new subquests (equal to the number found in Sleuth) 30 key quests, and 40 free quests. (Compared to 32 key and 39 free quests, including DLC, for Sleuth.)

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory will launch in Japan in 2017. Although no western release date has yet been announced, Bandai's European branch trademarked Hacker's Memory on the 19th.

Digimon World -next 0rder- Coming to Taiwan in June, No PS4 Port

April 15th, 2016. Bandai Namco Entertainment Taiwan announced that the PlayStation Vita game Digimon World -next 0rder- will be coming to the island country on June 9th, 2016. Like Cyber Sleuth, which Taiwan got a translation of ahead of western gamers in November 2015, the game currently appears to be in undubbed Japanese but with traditional Chinese subtitles and in-game text.  But unlike Sleuth, the game will exclusively be brought over on the PlayStation Vita, with no PlayStation 4 port having been announced. No word has been given as to whether or not -next 0rder- will be coming to English-speaking countries; previously Sleuth debuted in North America and Europe about 70 days after it did in Taiwan.

This is a key localization for Bandai, as it marks the first time in over seventeen years that a World game has been localized in Chinese. Initial screenshots already show successful implementation of Chinese text in gameplay, suggesting that progress on the translation has been ongoing for some time. Bandai Taiwan reuploaded one of the game's primary official trailers to YouTube, which is in Chinese-subtitled Japanese. Unlike Bandai of Japan, Taiwan has chosen to present the title as -Next Order- online, whereas other sources like @Digimon_game use -next 0rder-.

Bandai Namco Entertainment Thanks Fans for Supporting Cyber Sleuth

February 9th, 2016. Bandai Namco Entertainment of America uploaded a video to their official YouTube channel, thanking fans for participating in the Operation Decode petition and purchasing 2015's Digimon All-Star Rumble, attributing the localization of Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth earlier this month to their efforts. Four representatives testified their gratitude to fans, explaining that Operation Decode gave them "sixty-five thousand reasons" to localize Cyber Sleuth. The statement lines up with similar acknowledgements from producer Habu Kazumasa, who has been the number one fan of Digimon fans in the months leading up to Sleuth's international launch.

Fan reaction to the video has varied--one of the top comments on its page calls for Bandai to instead thank fans by localizing -next 0rder-. The narrative that Bandai is telling is clear, with its representatives all wearing fanmade Digimon shirts from Redbubble rather than any of the officially licensed ones. This is one victory that Bandai is ready to hand over to the world's Digimon tamers.

Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth launched in North America on February 2nd, 2016, and in Europe on the 5th of that same month. The game is available physically on the PlayStation 4, and digitally on both the PS4 and PlayStation Vita. Those that download the game during the month of February will receive all of its preorder DLC.

First Cyber Sleuth Mission Pack on PSN

February 9th, 2016. A first set of free Cyber Sleuth DLC was added to the PlayStation Network today, containing three additional purple quests for tamers to complete. The DLC uses Sayo of Digimon Story Moonlight as its icon, suggesting that the Dianamon quests that were reported absent from the Vita version and some PS4 copies of the game will be implemented in the following weeks as free DLC.

The first Mission Pack does not add Dianamon to the Field Guide; #195 is still missing from the list after installation. Mission Pack 1 is available for both PlayStation Vita and PS4 users.
