Omegamon NXEDGE Style Figure Priced at 3240 Yen

December 2nd, 2015. Japanese toy wholesaler and Digimon sponsor company Happinet has updated their web shop with a price and release timeframe for the upcoming Omegamon NXEDGE Style figure. The figure's MSRP is 3,240 JPY (approx. 26 USD) and will launch in April 2016. Currently Japanese users can order the figure through the Happinet set at 13% off.

The NXEDGE Style is a line of figures primarily featuring mecha series that appear in the Super Robot Wars crossover games, emulating the SRW super deformed style. Omegamon is the first non-mecha character to be made into a NXEDGE Style figure, joining the ranks of Mobile Suit Gundam and Mazinger Z.

Omegamon NXEDGE Style Figure to Launch in April 2016

November 20th, 2015. Bandai has announced the next figure in their NXEDGE Style line of SD figures, NX-0014 Omegamon. Scheduled to launch in April 2016, Omegamon comes with accompanying effect parts to simulate the blast and slash of the Garuru Cannon and Grey Sword.

Omegamon is the first character in the NXEDGE Style line to not originate from a mecha franchise, being the only "Digimon Unit" as opposed to a Dynamic Unit (Mazinger Z), MS Unit (Mobile Suit Gundam), GGG Unit (The King of Braves GaoGaiGar), or KMF Unit (Code Geass). NXEDGE Style frequently features units that make it into the Super Robot Wars crossover series of video games, emulating the games' super deformed style.
