Matsuda Takato G.E.M. Figure Prototype Leaked

May 25th, 2016. A user on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo uploaded a photograph of a magazine page showing an uncolored prototype of the upcoming Matsuda Takato & Guilmon G.E.M. Figure. The figure was previously teased in V Jump magazine, and is the third G.E.M. figure to come out of the Tamers' fifteenth anniversary celebration.

It is preceded by the Beelzebumon Blast Mode and Makino Ruki figures, which were recently put up for preorder for 14,904 JPY (~$150) and 7,992 yen. (~$80) The Beelzebumon and Ruki figures are both due to ship in late October.

The G.E.M. Series is a line of high quality figures aimed at young adult women, featuring characters from popular anime and manga series. Past Digimon G.E.M. figures include multiple versions of Takaishi Takeru and Yagami Hikari with the various forms of their Digimon partners, repeated reissues of Yamato and Taichi, and other members of the Adventure Chosen Children. This past year the series has made its first forays into Adventure 02 and Tamers merchandise.

  1. That figures are really adorable ** I'm really glad to see that Bandai is now focusing on Tamers (Digimon is "something" else apart from Adventure...).
