Digimon World -next 0rder- Welcomes Tamers Back to the Digital World

Today Bandai Entertainment uploaded the first trailer for Digimon World -next 0rder-, the latest entry in the Digimon World franchise and the successor to 2013's Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode. The trailer incorporates training and battle scenes from the 1999 Digimon World game. Intended to launch on the PlayStation Vita, -next 0rder- runs with the slogan "Welcome "Back" To Digimon World," and shows off revamped areas taken from the original PlayStation game. The first seconds of the teaser is lifted directly from the opening FMV of Digimon World.

Bandai Namco US is in a position to bring -next 0rder- over to western shores depending on the success of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth's English launch in 2016. Previously the company had been convinced to test the waters with Digimon games again through Operation Decode petition campaign, and the market success of their budget fighter Digimon All-Star Rumble led the company to bring over Cyber Sleuth.

Other lines from the trailer are ―僕らの世界が進化する― Bokura no sekai ga shinkasuru "Our world will evolve" and ―‟デジモンワールド”シリーズ最新作 Dejimon Waarudo shiriizu shisaichiku "[The] Digimon World series' latest work." Digimon World -next 0rder- will launch in 2016.

Tamer Union will be importing a Japanese copy of -next 0rder- at launch to play through and drum up western interest in the game.

On August 4th, Bandai Namco removed the original -next 0rder- trailer. It has since been reuploaded.
